Earth-2 S.T.A.R Labs

The Scientific and Technological Advanced Research Laboratories, or S.TA.R Labs, on Earth-2 is similar in some ways to the one on Earth-1, and yet considerably different. The Earth-2 S.T.A.R Labs didn’t suffer the particle accelerator explosion in the same way; where E1’s (very purposeful explosion) blew out part of the building in a very public fashion and the company fell into disrepute, on E2 the explosion was accidental, and Harrison Wells on that Earth managed to vent the explosive powers relatively harmlessly below ground. Metahumans were still created, but the company remained one of that world’s leaders in artificial intelligence, genetics and meta-human studies.
The technology and equipment within is different, too. Earth-2 is far more advanced in a LOT of ways from Earth-1, and their technology, despite the retro/art deco look to the world, is equally so.
